Attorneys for Donald Trump have asked the judge in his election tampering trial in Georgia to reschedule until after his death which is projected for 2035.
“The former president has a lot going on until then,” said Trump’s lawyer Avery Castro. “Mr. Trump has another election to prepare for, a vacation with his family next summer, and living the rest of his life before he can deal with this trial.”
Alternatively, Trump’s lawyer asked that the trial can be put off until Trump can pass the bar exam, become a lawyer and then a judge so that he can preside over his own trial.
